What files do you need to quote?
A 3D model in STEP, IGES, X_T, SLDPRT or native CAD format, plus a 2D drawing showing critical dimensions, tolerances, surface finish, alloy and any inspection requirements. If you only have a 3D model we can still quote, but a drawing that marks which features are critical to function will get you a more accurate price and prevent misunderstandings later.
How quickly will I get a quotation?
Enquiries are acknowledged the same business day, and a full quotation with piece price, tooling cost and lead time follows within 24 to 48 hours of receiving your 2D drawing and 3D model. Parts with unusual geometry, multiple slides or special material requirements can take an extra day because they need a tooling engineer's review before pricing.
What information should I include in my RFQ?
The five things that most affect our answer are the annual volume, the alloy (or a note that you want a recommendation), which dimensions are critical to function, the required surface finish, and your target launch date. Include a target price if you have one — it tells us immediately whether to quote a single-cavity or multi-cavity tool, and whether the design needs cost reduction before it is viable.
Will you sign an NDA before I send drawings?
Yes, and we prefer to. Send your NDA and we will review and return it, usually the same day, before you send any files. If you would rather use ours we can supply a mutual confidentiality agreement. Your tooling remains dedicated to your part and your drawings are not shared outside the team assigned to your program.
Can I visit the factory?
Yes. We host customer visits and quality audits at our facility in Qingxi Town, Dongguan, which is about 90 minutes from both Shenzhen Bao'an and Guangzhou Baiyun airports. Give us a week's notice so the engineers on your program are available. If you cannot travel, we run video walkthroughs and can arrange live video during T1 sampling.
What is your lead time from purchase order to first parts?
Production tooling takes 25 to 40 days depending on part complexity and cavity count, followed by 5 to 7 days for T1 sample production. After you approve samples, production lead time is 15 to 25 days including machining, finishing and inspection. For repeat orders on existing tooling, expect 15 to 20 days.
Do you have a minimum order quantity?
There is no rigid minimum once tooling exists, and we regularly run batches of 500 pieces. For new programs, the economics rather than a policy set the floor: below roughly 1,000 annual pieces, we will tell you honestly whether CNC machining from billet would serve you better.
